G120C/G120 and SIMOTION at the same PROFINET,does SIMOTION can via IRT mode control G120C/G120 run in the speed mode?

Isochronous Real-Time and IRT has witch different ? at PORTAL V13 SP1 UDP4,i can see G120C and S110 has PN different !

My method, fast and furious.

G120 with telegram 1. 

It has 2 words in and 2 out.

Use them to start motion, reverse direction, reset alarms , and of course set the speed ( 2 nd word ). Use the

And forget irt. Even if it was possibile, it is a total waste of technology For only driving a 120…

I like 352.  You get current, torque, speed, fault code and alarm code.  I do the same way by setting the run bits.  I agree, TO is a waste of time for speed control and only eats up clock cycles.

at the same BUS, has S110 (by IRT ),G120C (by RT),is it have any problem ?

S110 to do sever control (  e.g. ptp ),G120C to do speed control !

Anyway u can have s110 and g120 in same network (PN) but you handle them in a different way since s110 could drive a servo and the g120 no.

So, your architecture is OK, but you nerd to do a small software work to handle the g120
