Dear Colleagues, I'm trying to test how fast the G120 drive (with CU250S-2 PN 6SL3246-0BA22-1FA0) can communicate with S7-1500 via Profinet using isochronous IRT mode 1. I've found the following document here (at support portal) "IO-Device_PROFINET_functions_TIAPortal_mit_SIMOTION_en.xlsx", where there is said that CU250S-2 PN supports isochronous IRT mode with min update time of 500us (see attached pic1.jpg) 2. I've assembled a hardware system for testing, set up system Profinet cycle 1 ms, I've implemented a Synchronous Cycle OB61 (1 ms call time as well, attached to PIP1 - see pic2.jpg, pic3.jpg) in my software, I've setup also in the drive 8 words IN/8 words OUT and I just send speed setpoint into the drive (p1070) I call SYNC_PI(PIP1) at the beginning of the OB61 and SYNC_PO(PIP1) as the last instruction in OB61. 3. i've setup a trace within the drive to check how fast the incoming data is updated. And I've found that it's updated every 4 ms only (pls see pic4.jpg). I can't understand why it's not updated every 1 ms. Could you please help to understand. What do I do incorrectly? Many thanks for the attention! Attachmentpics.zip (114 Downloads) |
