Hello, I know it is quite old post but i have to ask I control the drive g120 cu230p-2dp on profibus, and I use the relay connected to DI0 on the FM as an enable with parameter set here p0852[1] , We are not using enable over profibus , but instead we are used to set 852[1] as hw enable so when signal on DI0 852[1] is lost, frequency drive DI0 will lose signal and stop drive , my question is if it will stop after ramp or no??if yes where i need to define this time , i have fan i have to have som ramp time . Please answer, I really need to know well thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Dear plcmange, parameter p0852 is called "Enable operation". If the signal is set to FALSE during operation, the drive will disable the pulses and spin out without any ramp up to standstill. If you want to use a ramp for braking please use parameter p840 (On/Off) or p848/p849 (Quick Stop). By using p840 please use the ramp function generator and configure the ramp with p1120 up to p1134. When using Quick Stop parameter p1135 - p1137 are necessary. Please find detailled informations in the operation manual of the G120P under the following link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109818090 The ramp function gererator ist described in chapter 8.18.6 |
