G120 freq. SetPoint Save /Hold While Switching between INdex 1 i.e MOP & Index 2 i.e Analog

hello !! i am currently working on G120 . and i was trying to Switch between 2 different SETpoints.

for that i am using 

P1000 [1] = 1 MOP ( With all micro 9 settings manually)

& 

P1000[2] = 2 Analog 

AND USING 810  at DI3 For switching between these two.

my problem is that i want to Save the running setpoint while switching from analog to mop.

example :- . Like my drive is running at 1200 rpm with analog setpoint , when i switch to MOP it should not be 0 . It should start from 1200 rpm in mop  after switching from ANalog to MOP. 

i tried to use p1030  but that only saves MOP Data .

Please Help me anyone else have faced this problem. or Know how to fix it ??

Hi,

to me that sounds like you would not need the command data set switchover via p810.

I think you can just use the Motor Potentiometer function in the following way to have a switchover between AI and Poti for speed: you use the switchover of hand mode and automatic mode of the motor poti function.

-p1041: connect to any DI (if DI = 1: automatic mode active -> analog setpoint is active; if DI = 0: hand mode is active and speed is changed via poti function up and down)

-p1042: connect the analog input parameter here as the setpoint source for automatic mode

- rest of the settings for MOP function stay the same (up, down via DIs).

So you can now switch between analog input and poti function via the selected DI in p1041. The speed setpoint will remain after switching from automatic mode to hand mode. I just tried it out because I was not sure about that. When switching from MOP mode (hand mode) to automatic mode the speed is ramped up or down to the value of the analog input.

Hi, sorry but I do not really understand this question.

You said it works perfect without command data set switchover. So why you want to do it?

I do not know a simple way to achieve it with p810. The biggest problem I see is that you want to save the last speed setpoint value also in NV RAM so that it is available after Power off/on. This is simply possible with the MOP function (auto mode / hand mode), so why not using it?

I m using this on my all 6 VFDs. n This is simple & may be the best way.

But want to know the possibilities with CDS ., just for learning & exploring purpose.
