G120 with CU240E-2DP, STO problem

CBest Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, please help. I was using this drive STO over profisafe. We are just doing an upgrade and the SI wants to use the F-DI instead. I have been online to the drive with starter and change from basic functions with profisafe to basic functions via terminals. i then activated changes and copied RAM to ROM then power cycled the drive. My problem is that the drive now just sits in STO no matter what happens with the F-DI inputs. I have checked the IO configuration to check for multiple assignment and all is ok. Also I don't see any change in the input state when onlinemonitoring with the Starter software. any help appreciated. Ta Colin

Do you have an CU240E-2DP F or just CU240E-2DP? Normaly the drive should run after changing to F-DI and accepting the changes and Power On Reset.

CBest Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	We have CU240E-2DP-F I don't have any errors on the drive. The drive is ready green led = on but safe led = slow blinking (STO active. I have 24V through a safety relay and back in to the drive on DI4 and DI5 but drive remains in STO. this used to work on Profisafe so could it be that I have a parameter set wrong for STO ack??? i have just raised a tech support request but it would be good if we could solve I've tried to upload the project to the thread but I don't think it has worked Thanks Colin Attachment SimaticSinamicsSto_prob.zip (233 Downloads)

I would suggest the following: 1. deactivate Safety and copy ram to rom again 2. Power On Reset 3. Activate Safety again with F-DI Input and then copy Ram To Rom 4. Power On Reset 5.
