G130 AOP Red Stop Button

I have recently upgraded the CU320 to a CU320-2 (and replaced the CIB with a CIM etc). The customer tells me that before with the CU320, the AOP30 Red button used to stop the drive when running in LOCAL mode (Fair enough). I cannot seem to get it to operate with the new CU320-2 running v4.4. I have confirmed in the AOP control settings that the Red button control is set to either OFF1 or OFF2. The Remote Stop function is disabled at the customers request. Do I have to manually parameterise the BICO for the OFF commands as well? Regards, Graeme

Gennadiy Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	Hi there, no BiCo connection is possible here, as far as I know. Probably you should be keeping the button for 3 sec to stop the drive.

Gennadiy Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	on Micromasters, Sinamics G120 you should keep a stop button for three seconds to stop the drive, if you control it from Profibus for example. That is, though you do not control the drive with OP, you can still stop the drive by pressing the stop button. In order to protect it "from a fool", a time delay is used. If you control the drive from OP, the pressing Stop button will stop the drive without any delay. Hope it is clear now.
