g150, PAC3200, CUP317-2DP profibus comm TIAv14

Hi all,

I have this problem with  a Sinamics g150(CU 6LS3040 - 0MA00 - 0AA1) and a PAC3200(as slaves) Cpu 317 2DP (as master) using tia portal V14 SP1.

Well i have have loaded the GSD's  for both slaves in tia but i cannot command the G150 nor receive and info from PAC3200. 

I am commissioning hte drive with Starter but when i edit the bits in CTW there is non of the signals that i have set in the  master PLC coming  into the drive.

Same thing with  PAC3200 - i cannot read nothing from peripheral inputs.

Yet i do have a slave PLC connected in this buss and i dont have any problem with that. 

I have intgrated before sinamics g series in profibus bbut this problems seem to me very stange!

Any one has any idea what the cause of this !

Problem solved!

I had to move IW/QW of slave device from 280 to 120 in PLC addresses and its working as it should!

But yet one question remains - why? It should work in IW/QW 280 as well!

I though this is a straight up question with straight up answer!

Alright here is my overview config.

and in this one is Slave Sinamics VFD.

The addresses highlighted with red used to be from 280 both input and output word

So i sent information from slave PLC to master PLC and back to Slave Sinamics but there was nothing going through as i commissioning with Starter i made it clear in previous posts. No error no nothing in diag buffer which is kinda strange!

But when i changed the Peripheral addresses of the slave sinamics from 280 to 120 it was no problem at all, comm works flawless, as it should!

Although the problem is solved but this makes me curious why does this happen. Is there any prblem with TIA in this matter  ( in the addressing IW and QW range ) because in Simatic Manager it owrks just fine with in 280 addresses.

Hello,

you syntax in the blocks is ProcessImage access (%IW;%QW).

It can be that the processimage size of the PLC is 256 , so the adress 280 is outside the processimage and must be accessed with PIW and PQW instead of %IW/%QW!

Check in the properties of the PLC which communicate with the Sinamics how the size of the ProcessImage is configured.

Yes but how to you change the access from %IW to PIW. 

I tried but it gives me a syntax error!

in TIA write IW<adress>:P or QW<adress>:P.

refer the Online Help in TIA to get Information about the Syntax you can use
