Hello friends,

i am using vertical turning lathe with sinumerik 802dsl. i am using cycle 97 (constant lead thread cutting) . but as the axis approached to the job .it is no starting the cycle. i think the axis is waiting for ref pulse from spindle encoder. but we are using encoder with correct configuration . the same program is working in nearest machine.

so kindly help me to rectify the problem.

Thank you, it is the first time we are using cycle 97 in this machine.we did not tried before,but the same program which is below is working in other machines.

it is newly commisioned machine

Actually the problem is, when we activate this threading cycle the threading tool approaches to the work piece at the thread starting point further it doesn’t move down for threading and it stays there only.

There is no alarm or message appears in the screen.
