Hi

I am having some trouble placing Gauges in TIA V15.1, I have a basic package with floating license, I am trying to work with a KTP700 HMI and I can place a Bar or Slide type Gauge but not an analogue type gauge, for example the D1_Control_1 will not work but the D1_Control_5 Slide Gauge will work

Any help would be greatly appreciated

i'm not sure, if I understood you correctly.
Have you been able to place an analogue gauge from your toolbox, but now it's just not working correctly?
Or did you find no analogue gauge in your toolbox at all?

If it's the last case, then I can say, that I also have no analogue gauge in my toolbox, if I work with basis panels.

thanks for your reply, I am just learning PLC and TIA portal, 

I have never been able to place a gauge, and I am not sure I even have the correct licence in order for me to use an analogue gauge, I have TIA basic and WinCC Basic licences loaded.

I don't see any gauges in my toolbox, but I was trying to place the gauge from the global library

Gauges are available in Comfort panels (which are programmed in WinCC Comfort).

You can download the HMI Toolbox library - there is a gauge element there. This is not exactly a gauge - a graphic list with 100 pictures. But you can use it.

the range of functions depends on the used license/device like Konstantin_D said.

One can say, that the functionality range increases from Basic->Comfort->Advanced->Professional.
