Hi, I have a similar situation: I need Rx3i (GE PLC) to be PN master and S7-315 to be slave. I configured the s7-315 as IO device and exported the gsd file. The GE programming software (PME) got the file but was faulted when downloading to PLC. GE support answer me that @ the gsdml file there are 2  parameters called "FixedInSubslots" and their values are 1000 &1001 but GE PLC knows to deal just with slaves range 0-255. gsdml file is attached. I changed the values to 100 & 101 and downloaded to GE PLC and it's running but no comm. with s7-315. The s7-315 itself is running but with fault led red. I assume I need to change the values somewhere @ the s7-315 but where and how ?
