Gear to external encoder

DavidBrown Gold Member Joined: 6/29/2012 Last visit: 12/25/2023 Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	In my project (S7 1516 T cpu TIA V16) I am gearing a servoaxis to an external encoder. Because there was some instabillity in the external encodersignal I set in the extrapolation data of the external encoder object the velocity filter T1 at 0.1 sec and the tolerance band at 1.36 mm/sec. If I do the commands MC Gearin or MC Gearinpos, will the following axis look at the extrapolated filtered values instead of the unfiltered values? Thanks.
