Get alarm ID of the selected alarm in alarm control

Hi,

I would like to store the ID of the selected alarm in the alarm control.

I've been researching this forum and the closest solution I could find was this topic, but I want to store the ID into a tag/variable (for example using an external button).

The reason for wanting the ID is to show more information for the selected alarm, like the InfoText suggested in this topic, but I would also want to show images, so this doesn't fulfill all my needs.

But if there is an easier method that does not require getting the alarm ID, that would also work.

(I'm using TIA portal V18 Update 2)

It should be what I was looking for, but when I try to implement the snippet in a script function, I get the following message error in the Trace viewer:

"Error Code: TypeError: JavaScript exception: PROPERTY_GET GetIdsOfNames failed (property='Alarm', id=-1, error=0x8000001c) --> Message: Not An Error"

Also, in the script editor, I get the GetSeletedAlarmAttributes underlined in blue, and if I hover over the text, I get "Invalid object or member on current device: GetSelectedAlarmAttributes(alarmControlName)" text, as shown in the following image capture:

Any suggestions of what I could be doing wrong?
