Hi there - maybe you can even help me... My name is Spencer.... and I live in South Africa... What I need to do is to get data from a set of CTU counters... so that the counters are in series - okay - so that I will pulse the input of the first CTU counter - so that it has the value of the counts - and I believe keep them in CV - the Count Value - register in the CTU counter.... okay... Now what I need to do is then as you can understand - all the pulses - that I count up - will store themselves as numbers in the CV registers in each CTU counter... So when I need to read the numbers - I need to read the value of each CV register - then make up a number in string format - and then send it to the serial port...hmmm Now how to do this - I just do not undertstand... Denilson - says that I need to convert the numbers to strings... - well okay - but then also I can't send each number - I need to "add" up the numbers in STRING format - so that the whole string is then transfered to the BUFFER of the PtP cell of the serial port...!!! So I was thinking of using the CONCAT command - to do this....hmmm If I use the CONCAT command - it means that I need to do it a few times - and then get all the numbers joined together .... okay.... What sugestions do you have.... maybe you can help me - a bit too...hmmm - and maybe I can help you a bit too... Thank you - Spencer... Splitted from How do I get I/O or standard M variables. |
