Hi Now i have CPU 315-2PN/DP ,I want to get data from PM850 ,How to communicate by profinet and hardware must be use. Thanks, |

Hello NDK; Unless Schneider (Merlin-Gerin/ION)powerlogic equipment has changed much since I used them last year, I do not believe that the PM800 series of powermeters have a Profinet option. We always connected to them using their RS-485 port, using Modbus RTU. There was an option for a Modbus/TCP module available as an option, but we never needed to use it. The Modbus register map for these meters can be found here (you will need to register): http://www.powerlogic.com/literature.cfm?supportind=library&librarylevel=pubtype&InstructionBulletin=1&c_2&c_2_sc_12&c_2_sc_9& I would be interested in seeing any new information on the subject of Profinet interfaces to these powermeters, if you have any.
