GET instruction problems

Slovenc Posts: 27 Rating: (3)	Hello! I am having some troubles with the GET instruction now. I established the connection between the PLC-s with the GET instruction. If i understood the manual correctly i only need to put the block (PUT or GET) in one PLC. I put a PUT block on PLC 1 and now i need to enter the adress of the variable from PLC2 in the PUT block of PLC 1. Do i need to define global variable on PLC 2 so they are avalible on PLC 1 because the PUT instruction in PLC1 does not find my variable i set in PLC2. The type of variable set in PLC 2 is bool. I think i defined the variable in PLC 2 wrong. I attacked a picture of the variable in PLC 2. i appreciate your help, Jure Attachment Brez naslova.jpg (290 Downloads)

The blocks which you access with the "GET" instruction were created with the access type "standard". Make sure that the areas defined with the parameters ADDR_i and SD_i match in terms of number, length and data type. The area to be read (ADDR_i parameter) cannot be larger than the area for data storage (RD_i parameter).

Slovenc Posts: 27 Rating: (3)	Hello. Im using TIA11 SP2 and two 1214 AC/DC/RLY CPUs. I dont know what the adress of the stored data on PLC 2 is (the adress of the variable i want to read on second PLC). Thanks for your help, Jure
