Hello, regarding to theprogramming method of calling blocks in SCL you will find informations in STEP 7 (TIA Portal), by "Instructions in SCL (S7-1500)". Further informations regarding the functions PUT and GET see the following FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/65975617 With best regards |

My current project is using GET/PUT with the s7 connection already configured, so when I added the get block into an scl FB, it acted properly. When I did the same in lad FB, it likewise acted properly. When I click on the diagnostic icon in the LAD GET block, it takes me online and helps me see I already had my s7 connection created. If you think it is buggy and find no workaround, send in a Support Request. If you find it is easy to work-around, making a note online how you worked around inconsistent behavior, that saves us all time by your sharing. |

Thank you! I also have my S7 connection configured! I really don't know what is causing this issue.
I'll issue a support request |
