Hi, The @ServerMachineName system tag returns the hostname of the machine running the runtime. This hostname is built from the MAC address. So you can use it as a unique ID. Older image versions had the drawback that the hostname was restored when doing backup and restore, but in current versions the hostname is built from the MAC address each time the device is booted. Kind regards |

Dear Expert, "Older image versions had the drawback that the hostname was restored when doing backup and restore", do you have specific image version information for reference? |
