GetUserName ??

hi guy's !

i want to display name of user after making succesfully the login and the password 

i put in my screen an I/O field and i choose an event "GetUserName" but i don't know what to put in the tag 

please help !

Hello,

GetUserName is a function, where the actual Username is written in the Tag specified.

This function could be executed, when there is a change of user.

The Tag can be outputted in an IO Field.

Create a String tag in the PLC and use it as the output tag for the GetUserName function.

You can execute the function periodically to refresh the PLC tag.

i have set the string tag HMI "USer" but i don't know how to do link between "USer" and the user administartion ? please see the attachment

The tag 'User' should be of type 'String'   (not a CHAR, this is just one character)

I'm french too, you have to choose WString and not char for the tag ;)

i can not create a string type in the PLC tags editor.

i'm using tia v13 sp1
