global scripts and system pdl on client

saseryu Experienced Member Joined: 5/17/2007 Last visit: 11/13/2024 Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	hi, i have 2 red server and 3 clients PCS7 V8.0 upd.1 when i change something on CFC, compile and download, i can see the changes on servers and clients, But when i change @xxx.pdl, for example @logo or @overview and compile, then generate server data then dowload the stations, the changes shown in servers but cannot shown clients also there is no global script on clients. should i manualy copy the pictures on client or something wrong? dmertens Bronze Member Joined: 10/3/2007 Last visit: 6/25/2024 Posts: 188 Rating: (34)	The clients have their own project, so if you modify a system picture on the server it will not be modified on the client, also if you create a global or project script on the serverit will not exist on the client, the client only uses process pictures from the server so only changes in project pictures and scripts imbedded in those process pictures will automatically be available on the clients after you download the server. There is no need to download the clients in that case as the client project does not contain these server pictures but gets them from the server upon request. Hope this answers your question, David
