Hi All,

In the regular WinCC the default function "gmsgfunc.fct" exists. This function i striggered for every incoming/outgoing and acknowlegded alarm.

Does anybody know if such a function also exists in TIA portal?

In this forum tread I have found the functionality I want, however this is after a button press. I'm looking for an automated function which is being triggered after an incoming alarm.

The same function like "gmsgfunc.fct" not exist in WinCC Professional.

But you can create your own function similar function like "gmsgfunc.fct"

Create a new C-function and select as parameter the structure MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT

Call this new function from the event of the message “Status changed”.

On the event “Status changed” you can select the new function with the parameter MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT
