Donehill Posts: 64 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm currently using WinCC 7.0 for my project. I cant get to group display to work correctly. I have configured the alarm logging as follow: MessageTag: 2 unsigned 16-bit tags (ALM_Hi) & (ALM_Lo) MessageBit: 1 StatusTag: unsigned 32-bit tag StatusBit: 15 & 14 In group display, I insert the StatusTag into the group value. When I set my ALM_Hi to Decimal 2 or BIN 0010, the group display 1st button shows AL blinking. When I set my ALM_Lo to Decimal 2 or BIN 0010, the group display 1st button shows AH blinking When I set the message tag a few more times, it has no more effect, the group display just blink AH only. When I acknowledge the alarm at the alarm banner, the group display still blinks. How do I rectify this problem? Do I need to configure other settings before using group display? How do I link the group display to the areabuttons in overview? Any help will be appreciated, I need to settle this ASAP.

Stephenlim Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	If the group display is continually blinking even after acknowledgement, wouldn't this have to do with the acknowledgement mask settings? By default this was set to 3089 in WinCC. Any recommendations what value to modify this to?

Donehill Posts: 64 Rating: (0)	Hi Again, I manage to make the group display to work by writing a script to manipulate the tag in the group display. But now the group display in my overview doesn't show any alarm. I used the Dynamic Wizard; Connect group display with picture - updated the picture hierarchy - added CCCSigRTServer & CSIG.exe in the Computer properties/ Startup The alarm log still show "1011001 The group display hierarchy is not up-to-date". I understand that the group display in overview uses a self-generated internal tag in the group value. For instance @Pic tag for Pic.PDL. The @Pic tag shows 0000 0000 0000 0000 1111 1111 1111 1111 only even when I force the group display alarm in Pic.PDL. Attachment Overview.JPG (224 Downloads)
