Grouping boolean points into a word or integer

Malteser Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I need to group various boolean points into word or integer memory locations so that these can be used a trigger tags in the WinCC descrete alarms. Is there an FB that is readily available to do this job or a procedure to follow?

[code] A M0.0 = M100.0 NOP 0 A M5.1 //FORCE TO ONE, MONITOR MW100 = M100.1 // AND SO ON [/code] you may expect W#16#0002 for MW100, but actually it is W#16#0200. To avoid this mismatch I recommend this simple added code to rectify this problem.(Worst casedifferent person working on AS and OS) [code] A M0.0 = M100.0 NOP 0 A M5.1 //FORCE TO ONE MONITOR MW100 = M100.1 // AND SO ON L MW100 CAW T MW102 //SAME BIT PATTERN AS YOU EXPECTED [/code] Please try and give me the feedback.
