Hello senthikumar; From the ABB site, it seems they are using the same RPBA or FBPA adapter from Anybus for their Low voltage AC drives. The specific gsd file you would need is discussed here: ABB Fieldbus Interfaces FAQ: http://library.abb.com/global/scot/scot201.nsf/veritydisplay/ec9a4cdcbd9063bbc125731300423b7b/$File/FAQ_FB_ABB_Drives_20070709.pdf RBPA-01 and FBPA-01 adapters (Profibus) manual and GSD file download: http://www.abb.com/product/seitp322/f12b5520207bb331c1257265002a17d6.aspx In the Fieldbus Options box, select FBPA-Profibus(3) for example.

Hi senthilkumar, Yes it's possible to create/change gsd file. But I suggest you to try to find necessaries GSD already prepared. This way is easiest and fastiest. So ABB drive could use NPBA-12 N-series Profibus adapter, RPBA-01 R-series Profibus adapter or FPBA-01 F-series Profibus adapter. In your case ACS550 is using ABB Drives R-series fieldbus modules. PROFIBUS DPV0 / DPV1 RPBA-01. And you need GSD file for this module. For RPBA-01 module: · ABB_0812.GSD for PROFIBUS-DPV0 slave mode · ABB10812.GSD for PROFIBUS-DPV1 slave mode (RPBA-01 Rev. H onwards) * * NOTE: If DPV1 mode is used the adapter configuration parameter DP MODE (51.21) should be set to ‘1’. Hope this will helps. Best regards Hristo Mihalev |
