Hello Björn; First your doubt is correct, the GSD file is only requiredtointegrate a Profibus-DP slave in a Profibus configuration. Nothiing to do with Ethernet modules or Hardware Support Packs (HSPs), which is waht you need to integrate new hardware into a Step 7 confoiguration. Now, you do not mention the model number of your Ethernet module, and that makes it difficult to give you a straight answer. There are cases where TIA Portal cannot integrate a module that is too old, which would mean buying a supported model. The list of available modules supported by TIA portal can be found here, and I have extracted the list of CP 343-1 you can use in TIA Portal v. 11: Which devices and modules are supported by STEP 7 Professional V11 and WinCC Professional V11?
6GK7 343-1EX11-0XE0 CP 343-1 V2.0 6GK7 343-1EX21-0XE0 CP 343-1 V1.0 V1.1 V1.2 6GK7 343-1EX30-0XE0 CP 343-1 V2.0 V2.2 6GK7 343-1CX10-0XE0 CP 343-1 Lean V1.0 V2.0 V2.2 6GK7 343-1GX21-0XE0 CP 343-1 Advanced-IT V1.0 V1.1 6GK7 343-1GX30-0XE0 CP 343-1 Advanced-IT V1.0 V1.1 If your model appears in the list, use the following instructions to download the correct HSP for yourCP: How do you update the hardware catalog in STEP 7 (TIA Portal)? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
