Hello Gustavo; 1) From the attached file you can see that the description of the modules is similar, so you can probably use the iM 153-2BA82 as a stand-in for the IM 153-2BA70. The -2BA82 was discontinued in 2015, the -2BA70 must be available in a newer version of Step 7. 2) The DP/PA couplers are never setup in the hardware configuration of the program. If your goal is to insert a PA instrument directly to the Profibus-DP bus using a coupler, use the instruments gsd file to load it as a slave to the DP-master ; just make sure the speed of the network is set at 45,45 kB (for every node). If you want to setup a DP/DPA link, you need a IM 163-2 to isolate and connect the PA instruments from the DP network (at any selectable speed up to 12 MB), and follow the instructions in the commissioning chapter of the manual below: SIMATIC Bus links DP/PA coupler, active field distributors, DP/PA Link and Y Link Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
