Hello ALI KK if you really only use a "pure" DP/PA coupler (e.g. 6ES7157-0AC80-0XA0) which is directly connected to your 45.45kbps DP Network, the DP/PA coupler is transparent andNOT configured in your DP Master and as such also does not have a GSD file(the only exception to this rule is usage of a6ES7157-0AC83-0XA0 DP/PA couplerwhich - while still transparent - has Diagnostic capabilities and is configured in Step 7). If you however use a DP/PA link (e.g.an IM153-2 with an IM157), you'll find them inthe HW catalogue of Step 7. Should you use these with a third party DP Master though, you'll need to create a GSD file for it. I hope this helps and below are a few supporting links with more details on the above. How do you configure a PROFIBUS PA network in STEP 7? What must you watch out for when connecting PROFIBUS PA devices to the PROFIBUS DP? How do you connect the IM 157/IM 153-2 in the DP/PA Link to an external master or a SIMATIC S5?(GSD-Tool)? How do you assign the PA address when the DP/PA link has been configured via GSD file? SIMATIC Bus links DP/PA coupler, active field distributors, DP/PA Link and Y Link manual |
