Hello, i posted this on Communication and Networks forum and they suggested to post it here also: i need to access an MP277 multi-panel from GSM network for telecontrol purposes. On PG-side, i want to use a laptop or desktop with a PSTN modem. On panel-side, MP277 has RS422/485, USB and Ethernet ports. I want to use a GSM modem, charged with data-enabled SIM and directly connected to panel,and remotely browse the pages of panel application from the laptop (just as i'm used to do with PC and software such as pcAnywhere): - first of all, is that possible? -what is the best equipment to do that? - how to installmodem driver into panel OS? - do i need additional software (i'm usingWINCC flexible advanced)? Note that i cannotdo this via GPRS modem with fixed public IP and smart@service facility of WinCC flexible becausethat's a temporary solution andbuying aleased lineis not worth. Thank you Fabio |

Maybe you have more luck in the wincc flexible conference. I will ask the moderator to transfer your post into that conference. with regards, Ikkezelf |
