Dear Team,

We are designing an H system with two CPU 412-5H PN/DP under which ET200SP & other PLC /HMI are in RING TOPOLOGY. With reference to theConfiguration Examples for S7-400Hpage 6 of 37, for media redundancy with MRP, one device is the media redundancy manager (MRM), all other devices are redundancy clients.

Only SYSTEM REDUNDANCY is possible on H system?

Is the configuration in the attached SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE will work as a RING NETWORK with H system?

Also with reference to the ET200SP datasheet page 3 of 4, its supports only Singular NAP S2 system redundancy not redundant.

Please support to achieve the correct workable system architecture.

Hi,

       SRP & MRP is very different concept.  you cannot mix both.

      Some of IM from ET200Sp family support the SRP. (can be used with S7-400H).

      Please separate networks. for ET200Sp & S7-1200.

      In one network just for Et200Sp. (SRP supportable IM from ET200sp)

      in case of S7-1200 it will be not possible.  I will suggest put profibus y-link on the profibus                     network & put the S7-1200 as a slave then exchnge the data from S7-1200.

we often work with S7-400H systems. I strongly suggest to segregate I/O network (you can easily configure several ET 200SP racks connected in ring topology - the ring will be "closed" through the redundancy link between the two CPU), and other networks (maintenance, communication with other systems etc.)

I/O network is usually critical for your application and nothing else must be there.
