Greetings It's been seven months since I've programmed a network of PA devices, but I don't remember having any issues. The only issue I remember is getting the device to display/transmit in PSI vs. the default of mPa, and for some reason, I couldn't change the setting through PDM. If you haven't seen it yet, perhaps this FAQ may help: Connecting a SITRANS P (DS series) to PCS7 via a PROFIBUS PA - communication -- Topic Entry ID: 766281 Edit: It just occurred to me -- is this a Siemens Sitrans, or another vendor's? If someone else's, is the data transmitted as a word where the decimal point is fixed? (for example, 23.45 mPa are transmitted as 2345) |
