Guten tag,

I got stuck in completing my configuration for the hardware. i followed the Siemens manual to get started with my S7-1500.

IP; 192.168.000.010

Ethernet cable is connected to PC

By referring to the Siemens manual it stated to change the

i) type of PG/PC interface to PN/IE  -> DONE

ii) the pg/pc -> what option am i suppose to choose??

i hope somebody could help me enable me to do my institution project.

i think the best you can choose is the Network Adapter from you PC which is connected to the PLC.

Make a screenshot of your problem!

at the moment is not really clear what is you problem.

in the screenshot a unspecific PLC is displayed and it look that you will upload the configuration from the target to the project.

Which PLC is used with which FW Version?
can you reach the PLC trough Ethernet, works the ping to the IP?

Hereby i attach the pdf file on the steps i did in order to configure my hardware with the reference of Siemens user manual.

The very first step before i did anything, i key in the following in the S7-1500 CPU display screen:

IP: 192.168.000.010

Subnet: 255.255.255.000
