Hardware Configuration Of the ET 200S Serial Interface Modbus/USS Module

Good Morning everyone ; i hop you're doing okay

I am using ET 200S Serial Interface Modbus/USS Module, to send/recieve DATA between S7-400 (master) and et200s module (slave), my problem is the amount of data that i want to communicate is large (50 bytes)

The module appears in the hardware catalog (HWconfig) in the following six
versions:

Modbus Master (8 Byte)/(32 Byte)
Modbus Master (4 Byte)/(32 Byte)
 Modbus Slave (8 Byte) or (32 Byte)
 Modbus Slave (4 Byte)/(32 Byte)
 USS Master (8 Byte)/(32 Byte)e
 USS Master (4 Byte)/(32 Byte)

the Modbus protocol allows maximum data to be sent is 127 words (254 bytes) ,

what does the number between parenthesis mean ? is it the maximum data supported by the module or is it something else ?
