Striker86 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I'm using v12 and I am unable to find the hardware detect option that worked in v11. Can somebody explain where this is and how I upload the hardware config from an online CPU please.

Hi, go to the project view and select the device manager---> open it if you have CPU in that picture itself you will find inside as Blue colour text as Hardware Dtect. select it

If no please select one unspecified CPU from HW . in TIA 12 ---->device--->go to --->1200CPU--->select Unspecified CPU at last--->After select this it will open a window-->there one transperant CPU will be there inside you can see that option.

Striker86 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I tried it for the 1500 and the option appears, but when I try and insert an unspecified 300, 400 or ET200 CPU the option isn't there. Siemens have only included this option for a 1200 and 1500. Why is that?

Hi , You create the same configuration as in physical after that go to accessible device and it will detect the CPU 400/300 or anything then if you open that accessible device you will get all blocks .. from there just copy all the boloccks and paste it in your program block. This is my opinion, may be some other way avaialable i will check and tell
