hello,

one quick question about hardware on  AS-I network- in hardware properties designated I/O addresses does not match but they are one address ahead . I did try to compile several times , changing the address and compile again with different address and the result remains the same .

if I have trigger Q1.0 - Q1.2  the address triggered is Q1.3 and Q1.4

Could you provide us with the AS-i modules and the As-i master you are using in your project, so we might understand your project a bit more?

a screenshot of your configuration and the error messages you see would probably clarify things greatly.

Modules used for the project are IFM AC 2458 AS-I profile S-3.F.E as-I master CM 1243-2 I am using two of these modules but problem has occurred only on one of them .

the address provided by the TIA V13 is different than the one that activates the output on this particular module but I have no issues with inputs on this module . I forgot to mention that there is no fault message and every time I am trying to compile project system tells that is up to date.

Please show us the module configuration you have, and which addresses you expected to activate through AS-i. Your description might be excellent but we need to see it if we want to understand your problem.

I am unable to show you screen shot at this moment , I will try to give you best description as I can .

I am using CM 1243-2

only one network

few field devices AC 2458

in properties

I/0 addresses

digital I/0

starting address 1

end address 1.1

1.0 and 1.1 if activated should give me an output on module as it is described in hardware properties this does not happening  instead cpu will trigger output with higher address . 1.2 and 1.3

If this does not explain or bringing you any closer I will be able to post screen shot tomorrow .

Are you quite sure about your addressing?

Look at the attached screenshot, taken from this manual:

Operating instructions AS-i CompactLine module AC2456 ... - ifm

You should really send us a view of your ghardware configuration for that module in your project, so we can compare to what has been setup compaed to the ifm manual.

hello Daniel,

I have resolve this by taking the distributed I/O from network compile network again and then adding this element back . This time it is triggering the described I/O in project hardware library .
