Hardware required for SMS and Email notification over mobile network with S7-1200

Nereus Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Hi, We have a requirement to send SMS and Email notification over mobile network for a pipeline monitoring and control application. Each node has to monitor 8DI & 8AI and control 8DO & 4AO. S7-1200 CPU 1215C is selected for the node. Hardware that we are considering is CPU 1215C + CP1243-8 IRC + TS Module GSM + ANT794-4MR (6ES7215-1HG40-0XB0) + (6GK7 243-8RX30-0XE0) + (6GK7 972-0MG00-0XA0) + (6NH9 860-1AA00) The diagram of the hardware is attached. Please confirm that with suitable configuration and programming this set-up will support SMS and Email notification over mobile network. Attachment Config4.png (78 Downloads)
