Hi

I want to know, if is possible to communicate to a PROFINET device (Frequency Converter) and at the same time communicate to a PC via TCP, in the integrated port of the PLC.

I mean having two different communication protocols on the same port of the CPU 315-2 PN/DP.

That is no problem, but please consider that the time that is used for the PROFINET IO can't be used for other communication. So please don't switch the PROFINET IO when you don't need it on 1mS update time.... When you have only some PROFINET IO then you don't have to take care at anything. Maybe the switches have to be good ones when you need them the Scalance X200 series is a very good one.
