help configure logo 24RC

Hi all,

i'm a complete novice to these LOGO controllers so please I need help on one I've bought:

Model LOGO 24RC with 4 relay OP Q1 to Q4, 8 inputs I1 to I8

I have it powered up.

I want to setup 2 inputs

 I1 = 3V d.c.

I2 = 7.5v d.c.

I would like to setup on a XOR to close Q1 when there's a mismatch.

i.e.

I1 on I2 on , Q 1 relay open

I1 off I2 off, Q 1  relay open

I can't get the menus to kick off working, I'm changing the inputs but nothing happens at Q1

Can someone please help??

We need the complete type of the logo? What is it? 0BA8 or 0BA7 or...?

If you want to query the amount of DC voltage, the analog inputs of the logo must be used when the logo has them. Then they can process 0-10V DC voltages.

That is why we need the exact type of the logo and what you plan exactly.

The number on the box is:

6ED1 052-1HB00-0BA6

Regarding the inputs:

0-10V

I have used I1 and I2

is that wrong.

the documentation included in the box was very poor. I don't have access to web at the location I'm trying to sample.

I at it all day and it driving me crackers!

The logo 6ED1 052-1HB00-0BA6 has no analog Inputs.

Analog Inputs have:

6ED1 052-1CC01-0BA6 or 6ED1 052-1MD00-0BA6 (with display)

or

6ED1 052-2CC01-0BA6 or 6ED1 052-2MD00-0BA6 (without display)

Oh NO!!

So I have the wrong model, is that what you telling me???

It does explain why I can't get it to work

Can you confirm

6ED1 052-1CC01-0BA6 has relay outputs?

I can find a data sheet for it.

No, 6ED1 052-1CC01-0BA6 has tranistor Outputs.

6ED1 052-1MD00-0BA6 (12/24RC) has:

- 8 inputs, 4 of which can be used as analog inputs.
- 4 outputs Relay
- Real time clock.

Hi I'm back. I order both of the controllers spoken about, 1 with relay and 1 with transistors.

(analog inputs)

I have the following connected up

3 v on I7 and 7.5 v on I8

These both show on the home screen as

I1; 00296

12; 00752

I have selected the afore mentioned XOR icon, but the relay will not switch, guys this is wrecking my head.

Is there save function? I elected my configuration, then I press ESC, which goes against everything I know on configuring controllers. I don't get "saving" or "SAVED"

Is there a start-up simple guide that would be for ***s like me???
