I am trying to call simple external program with this code : Sub Calculator() StartProgram "D:\Newdocument\calc.exe", "Null", hmiShowNormal, hmiYes End Sub But I want to check if calculator is open or not? If it is already open, I just want to show it not run again.

ibrahim454 Experienced Member Joined: 3/9/2018 Last visit: 12/11/2024 Posts: 65 Rating: (0)	Hi 8Noodles I use 'StartProgram' command to start any '.exe file' with VBscript in WinCC RT Advanced. for example calculatar.exe; StartProgram "C:\.....\Calculator.exe" But whenever I call this VBscript, It starts a new calculator.exe. I want to check in this VBscript whether Calculater.exe is open or not. If it is already open at the moment, just bring it forward, don't start it again. else ; Start Calculator

Now it is Calculator Now it is Laskin If you have many languages it might be best to get program PID within VBS code AppActivate accepts that too. Otherwise you need to write OR for every language. Also you cannot minimize or maximize window with AppActivate. That needs to be done with run program. Anyways for some reason with Calculator AppActivate always returns 0 for me, even though it activates properly. I do not need to do anything with Calculator, so i haven't tried to figure out why. With other programs it works fine.
