HELP me! Online communication adapter link damaged

chung_vn Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I use Adapter USB and Set up PG/PC interface is PC Adapter (MPI) to connect to CPU 315 via Com port of Adapter USB and i get some problems that could you help me fixed. 1. I have still connect to CPU normally by my laptop but recently days i could not connect to CPU then showed fault: "Online communication adapter link damaged" 2. Sometimes, i can connect to CPU after power cycle CPU supply. 3. When i connect usb gate to my laptop then laptop showed:" USB not connection" also either gate already connected to CPU. 4. Adapter USB still show enough lamp including: MPI, Power, USB. Please,i have two questions. 1. Adapter USB damaged? or connect cable rs232-usb damaged ( this one i replaced) 2. How to fix this problem? Thanks so much.

If you talk about Serial / RS232 you mean the MPI/PROFIBUS interface or (9 pin Female connector)? The "adapter link" message normaly means that the communicatiopn to the adapter is not ok, this means the USB interface, have you change something here(other USB Cable, Other USB Port)? Try to reinstall the Driver: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/search?search=pc%20adapter%20usb&type=Download&lc=en-DE Bye Murof
