Oh sorry I couldn't get your point earlier. You can create redundant connection through running the Wizard Create Redundant Connection, through one CP5611 only. If you go for two CP 5611 then you have to create Fault Tolerant connection through Netpro. But I never did this AttachmentRedundant Connection.zip (174 Downloads) |

Hello,This is the only way. create redundant connection wizard in WinCC. Only CP1613 and S7-400H support fault tolerant connection. You can't do it with CP5611 and S7-300. To the best of my knowledge (maybe wrong), you can't have two CP5611 in a single PC. It's always one access point available in thePG/PC interface. Which one should you chose?!! Anyhow, the software redundant solution works with create redundant connection wizard. In this case (2 CPUs 315-2DP) the Profibus interface will be used for ET200Ms and the MPI interface will be used for HMI(PC) connection but it will be little bit slow (187.5 Kb/s). Of course more info to be found in software redundancy manual. Best regards. H-H |
