Maky7722217 Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	Hi, don't waste your time to read some manual. Actually ODK's not so bad asi thought before. But if you want to create a code in WinCC, you'd buy it. It isn't big money for good manual + "some" examples. Anyway i attached something ;-) I'm using this function to read tag logging and write data to .csv file (FILE, fopen(), fprinf(), fclose() ). Something like a little archive data export. MS Excel likes this kind of file ( and customers as well ;-) ). I wrote code in Notepad so there're some bugs maybe. Ganesan Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Hi, I am facing something different now. I tried using this function and attempted retrieving more than 10000 data, and it works without any problem. Even the dwNumberOfData shows correct value, even though it is more than 10000. If this is the case, where exactly the limitation of retrieveing 9999 data arise. I will explain my attempt in little detail. I archived a tag (say binary tag for device on/off status) every 500ms for arund2 hours. Effectively, I got 2x60x60x2=14400logged values.And I wrote a script to sum up all the run-secondsbetween a start time and a stop time.I couldretrieve the data between any interval of time (even when there are more than 10000logged values),without any repeated calls to TLGGetArchivDataEx.I also tried monitoring the dwNumberOfData variable through a tag, and even it gets updated when more than 9999. Where exactlythe limitation arises? I havent tried for 65535 logged data, where the limit of unsigned 16 bitoccurs.I want to implement daily, weekly, monthly and annual shiftwise production reports, and I am thinking of using this idea. Pls comment. Ganesan
