hac_am2003 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir I have a PLC S7300 CPU 315 2PN/DP 6ES7 315-2EH13-0AB0 And I have a Micro Memory Card 512 KB : 6ES7953-8LJ20-0AB0 I put the MMC in , then power on CPU - > stop led lash then light, but not RUN , BF led is red. I reser MRES but then CPU not run. I used STEP 7 to configure and down load but can't download, i used MPI cable. The MMC works well with other CPU 315 2DP. Please help me. I wonder if my CPU is error or not?

Niranjan Prasad Posts: 691 Rating: (37)	Dear hac_am2003 Have you checked Module Information?? Is your Hardware Configuration OK?? Use Fault OBs to prevent CPU to go in Stop Mode.

hac_am2003 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	thanks for your suggestion! I am sure that my configuration is ok. But the main problem is I can't download the configuration to CPU as well as upload from PLC. When i press View to view Node on the MPI, STEP7 does not show the CPU 315 PN/DP. Hic. Please help me!

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 9/12/2024 Posts: 3020 Rating: (1054)	Hello hac_am2003 please check your "set PG/PC interface" setting (see Options menu in Simatic Manager). You problem could be as simple as it being set to MPI, but the MPI/DP port of your CPU isconfigured as a DP port (via the configuration on the MMC that you put into the CPU which would also neatly explain the BF LED). Anyway, try settignit to "PC Adapter (AUTO)"and see if this helps.

I would advise you to reset the MMC in CPU 315-2PN/DP. Please have a look at this link: how do you reset a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU and MMC (default reset or overall reset)? follow the three steps, the mentioned times are important. And a step 4 would be: hold in MRES position for at least 5 seconds. Best regards, Wizard

But finally, DC5V Led is blue ok ; Stop Led is yellow ok (not blink), but when switch to Run then Run Led blinks 3 times then not light. And the SF led is always RED. How to make SF Led is off. Help me. Thanks

hac_am2003 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	thanks of course, we must use diagnostic function, but the problem is we can not make CPU online. Any way i resetted CPU in 4 steps as mentioned. And finally, my CPU runs well. Thank you very much. But when i put MMC into the other CPU then that CPU is not OK. And please tell me WHY ONE CPU CAN NOT RUN WITH MMC INTO WHICH OTHER CPU RUNS WELL?
