Help with septic system programming

dbcreations Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello Everyone, I am new to the forum and new to trying to program LOGO! units. I have a LOGO! 230RC unit that went bad in my septic control panel. I replaced the LOGO! unit, but I am having a hard time getting it programmed to the old settings. I reached out and got the schematic diagram from the original company, but they want to replace my entire control panel rather than fixing what I have. I have the cord I need to attach to the LOGO! unit and I have the LOGO! software, I just need the programming done. I have attached the diagram. Is anyone able to help me with this? ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/24/2025 Posts: 34557 Rating: (4313)	I'm from Germany, Europe. That's why I'm not familiar with American wiring diagrams. What is meant by “PS” at input 3? What is meant by “C2” at input 4?

ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/24/2025 Posts: 34557 Rating: (4313)	qwazee ilmarix C2 seems like NO contact of same contactor that starts the pump. Would PS be for "panel stop"? Maybe “PS” means pressure sensor? Because a compressor is also switched on by the PLC?

There is an air compressor that sends air into one of the holding tanks and one of the other functions is to turn on a pump to pump the waste to the drain field. Hope that information helps. I thought I could figure this out myself, but quickly realized I was in over my head.

Please help me out here, since English is not my primary language. Reading between the lines is not my strongest attribute. "I am having a hard time getting it programmed to the old settings" To me this means you have the old program but is having trouble to load the new LOGO! with it. It would be good to see a copy of that program. Or even if it is your attempt at making the program. "Is anyone able to help me with this?" What does "this" mean in this sentence. Could you spell out what you are asking. Perhaps you are wondering how to load the old program into the new LOGO! "they want to replace my entire control panel rather than fixing what I have" What is wrong with the electrical circuit if "they" want to replace it. With what do "they" want to replace it with? Do "they" know how the interaction of outputs and inputs should work? Is it a trade secret or will you publish here what the functionality is?

dbcreations Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, Thanks for the reply. The old unit is dead and I have no way of pulling off the information from it. The original installers provided me with this schematic diagram, but do not have the original LOGO! file. I installed a new LOGO! unit, but it has no programming. I am hoping someone is able to rewrite the entire code? I am willing to pay some for the services, it's way over may head and I am not sure how to do it. When it comes to what "C2" and "PS" mean I am not sure. There are a series of alarms and floats in the system that it could be related to.
