Hex to Dec conversion

It looks like Logo cannot convert Hex to Dec, correct?

I was thinking about using with Logo multiple digital temperature sensors aggregated by Modbus adapter where temperature data presented in Hex values.

Do you mean Hex or BCD format ? Have you a link to your device ?

My LOGO is already talking through the gateway to 16xDO module from the same brand and a power meter.

There is no value conversion needed, only some comparisons. If the value is 0-10000, then the temperature is 0-10000 with 1 decimal. If the value is >10000, then the temperature is 10000-value with 1 decimal. The Logo don't know a value 65535, but this is -1 for comparison.

Reading data is hexadecimal which needs to be converted to decimal. 

Example from the manual:

00F2 – read data from sensor 1

Ignore this text, this is only a number representation, you can write 16x0F or decimal 15, the bits are the same..Try out the program in attachment in a simulation. Copy this part into your programm with ready network setup and change the analog network input to your proper value.

Simulation just works, so now I can probably order the device I mentioned with some level of confidence.
