sfa Posts: 70 Rating: (3)	I have located it : it is hiddenon the SR6 DVD I've received som time ago. But didn't bother to install since I normally instal from the net. Customer support is apperently not aware of this... /søren

HWConfig • As of this Hotfix: The "Save and Compile" function has been improved. • As of this Hotfix: The consistency check of stations with CiR objects and I/O maximum expansion has been improved. • As of this Hotfix: The dialog for entering the update time in the project properties of the PROFINET IO system has been improved. • As of this Hotfix: The import of stations with normdevices has been improved. CPU Messages • As of this Hotfix: The creation of new messages has been improved. And yes, this HF was released (improved) with Step7 Professional 2006 SR6 DVD With regards, Hristo Mihalev

sfa Posts: 70 Rating: (3)	This post was created due to problems one of my colleagues had with his Step7 basis installation (5.4 sp5). When he was compiling the project in NETPRO (S7-417H) he got no errors, but when he downloaded to the PLC's - one of the erthernet cards was no able to handle the configured ISO-on_TCP connections anymore and could only get out of this deadlock if he made a factory reset on the card. The program had to be re-compiled on af PC with Step7 Professionel (SR6 = v5.4 SP5 HF1). Then my colleague could download with his own PC (Step7 basis) to the PLC and had no problem. I have extracted the HF1 from the SR6 DVD (85mb) and my colleague installed it on the Basis step7, abd have now no problem compiling the project in netpro and is able to download to PLC without errros. I'm wondering why Siemens Step7 sw development is so inconsistent in releasing Hotfix' for Proff and Basis versions. Especially because HF1 has been embedded in SR6 since its release this spring I belive ? and also because it is actually required for compiling the newest 400H hardware.... /søren
