hiding G500

i want to hide g500 base offset on the scratching page. how can i do that. could anyone help me about this matter please..

When an operator inadvertently scratches with G500 in the dialog box the zero offset is written to the Set Zero Offset frame. (Early Power Line may have written to Base Zero Offset and this could still be true with Solution Line; its a machine data setting decision.) Here is a program I wrote recently to check on the null status of the Set Zero Offset.

For all the 840D machines I have worked, I have never had reason to use G500. I can imagine how it might be used but I doubt its user could make a compelling reason for using it. Whatever, it cannot be locked out but you can set machine data so that the CNC powers up in G54 (or the one you want). In this case, G54 spontaneously populates the Scratch dialog box. I suspect that the forum monitors can add their 2 cents worth if you need to pursue this avenue.
