Hello dragonarsty; You are talking about a high-speed digital module (6ES7 321-1BH10-0AA0), and asking about Analog-to-digital converter infoprmation. Successive approximation A/D converters, at least the ones I worked with, convert an analog (voltage) input to a binary signal; using an array of weighted-chargecondensors.
