Historical Data Trend Problem

Hello Experts!

I'm currently on the stage of creating my Process Value and PID faceplate. And so, I need a log and trend for each PVs.

First, it seems that trends cannot be a part of faceplate (the tagging properties are gone), or can it?

Second, I've tried to create a logging tag in historical data (for the logging trend of each PVs), and link it to the trend. I made a cyclical trend as well as a log trend (2 different Trend Type).Now, the cyclical trend is finely reflecting a real-time visualization, but the log trend is not. The log trend is standing still, though the data is continuously logging which you can see if you rewind and forward (through the trend toolbar) the log trend, and that's only when it would change visualization (not automatically reflecting real-time value). But what I need is a real-time reflecting as well as a logging trend, not either (real-time or logging) or both (2 trends). Pleasetake note that I've tried this using PLC Sim, since the real PLC cannot be started for a time. But would this not be the same in the real PLC? Or am I just missing something?

Third, the f(x) trend view looks better than the normal trend view, but they have different functions/application. But can I use the f(x) trend and perhaps just assign the x axis to time so that I would just use it like the normal trend view (which is a variable in time, not a function of another variable) just getting the cool apperance of the f(x) trend?
