BenB Advanced Member Joined: 3/5/2013 Last visit: 3/10/2025 Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Hello, I want to have a bit in my program that doesn't allow the ouputs to work until the HMI screen is loaded. I want to do this so that I don't have pumps and other things running without the ability to alter their status because the HMI hasn't loaded. In the past I have just used a timer and approximated how long it takes the HMI to load, but I am looking for a more definate method. I have tried creating a bit that is set when the Root Screen is active thinking that when the HMI loads it goes directly to the root screen and would tell me that the HMI is on. However, the Root Screen bit doesn't get set until it is navigated away from and back to. Is there any other way anybody can think of to do this without a 'Start Up Timer' like I have used in the past? Thank you, BenB

Thank you, BenB you can set one bit from HMI on cyclic basis and can use this bit in PLC program as per your requirement. .
