Hello kAne9173 There are different versions of Time synchronisation available. Basically you can see anything in here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/69864408 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109482675 --> If you use the Area Pointer (the "old" way) Date/Time PLC then the time the panel reads from the DB is used a local time. this is important to know because the most time synchs like NTP or SIMATIC Time Synchronisation uses the UTC or Systemtime. So the problem comes if you use PLC timestamps like in Program_alarm or if you use systemdiagnostic view with diag buffer entries. THen the UTC/Systemtime timestamp will be used and the HMI has to be set exactly like the PLC (timezone and summertime) So the best way with S71500 and Comfort Panel or Mobile Panel is to use the two FAQs above. then the Time is correct in any situations. Of course there are also usecases in where the Area Pointer is still good to use but then you will always have to make compromises in any way if you use S71200/1500. With S7300/400 the Area Pointer is still the way to go. Bye Murof |

Hello! Isn't there any solution for the Basic HMI to account for daylight saving time? BR Andreas |
