Hello, I have a problem since I got the new M5 Field PG. It came with TIA Portal 11 & 13 installed on it (as far as I remember) and I had a problem back then - after downloading the project to HMI (no matter what was the model and series: KP or KTP or TP) I always had a problem with bad font. The real image on HMI was different than the screen view in TIA. The same project compiled and downloaded to HMI with use of older PG was OK. Now I have installed TIA Portal 11,12,13,14,15 and the problem still exists. I tried to use different versions of TIA portal (even 14 and 15) without success. The problem is with various font types. I've attached screens with my problem. On these screens there was Tahoma used and in case of size 11px, font on HMI is oversized, while in case of size 9px the font is looking bad (not smooth). Maybe someone had the same problem and is willing to share with me the solution?AttachmentHMI_font_problem.zip (123 Downloads) |

Thanks, you were right! I had 125% screen scaling setting (windows default). After changing it to 100% and recompiling project ("rebuild all" function) fonts are OK now (except one thing shown on the second of attached photos), but the problem is that all elements (fonts, icons, buttons, etc.) in Windows are currently so small, that it's very uncomfortable to use the system under that setting. I could change this setting only just before compiling and downloading project to HMI, but it's not comfortable, because after changing the scaling setting user has to be logged out and logged in in order changes to take effect. Is there another way to make it simplier? But still - thank you very very much for your tip :-) Attachmentafter_changing_windows_scaling.zip (100 Downloads) |
